Blanchon Waterborne Dye is an odourless, water-based stain for wood. Very easy to apply. Perfect for large, open areas such as wooden floors, wooden furniture, panelling and other interior woodwork. Suitable for all types of wood.
Blanchon Waterborne Dye will only be absorbed by clean, dry, untreated timber which is free from dirt, oil and grease.
Always do a test area before starting any project to test product suitability and finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin or container at all times.
Clean applicators immediately after use with water. Wring out cloths and wipe tools thoroughly after application.
Blanchon Waterborne Dye should be over-coated with a suitable top coat, such as Blanchon Oceanic Floor Varnish or Blanchon Hard Wax Oil. Other wood oils, water and solvent-based varnishes can also be used.
Please Note: Caution must be taken when using water-based finishes over water-based dyes. Keep brush strokes to a minimum as over brushing may lift or drag the colour.
