Blanchon Resin Filler is a solvent-based resin filler specially designed and formulated for sealing joints, splits (up to 2mm), holes and small cracks (up to 3 mm, in several applications) in laid wooden floors, furniture and wooden panelling.
When mixed with the wood dust from the 2nd sand, Blanchon Resin Filler gives an invisible repair that does not alter the original tone of the wood.
Please Note: this product is not suitable for floors laid directly onto battens.

Surfaces to be filled must be clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and other surface coatings and contaminants. The wood floor must be perfectly clean and dry: as a general rule, moisture content should be below 10%.
Please Note: Blanchon Resin Filler has a high V.O.C content and therefore emits a strong odour. If using in confined spaces, ensure that windows and doors are open to allow for good ventilation.

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times. Shake the container well before use.
Mixing Guidelines
Mix thoroughly with the wood dust from the 2nd sanding, until it reaches the desired consistency; the proportions may vary according to use:
- For a thinner, more fluid filler, use 4 parts filler to 1 part wood dust
- For a thicker filler, use 1 part wood dust to 1 part filler
Please note: Never exceed the 50:50 mix of filler and wood dust.
Application
- Use product within 10 minutes of the mixture of wood dust and filler
- For best results, apply the filler with a straight edged tool, flat blade, spatula or similar
- Ensure that holes, splits and gaps are completely filled
- Larger holes may need to be filled in steps
- Once dry, final sand with P100 - P120 grit sandpaper or buffing machine to achieve a smooth repair

Once fully dry, Blanchon Resin Filler should be finished immediately with a suitable Blanchon wood varnish, oil or lacquer. Finishing products from alternative brands can also be used.
