Holzol Weather Stain Tints is perfect for all exterior woodwork including timber cladding, doors, windows, conservatories and garden furniture. Based on natural oils and resins and available in a range of attractive colours, it dries to a highly durable, semi-transparent coloured finish.
Ensure that wooden surfaces are clean, dry and free from surface dirt and debris by brushing with a stiff brush or lightly sanding prior to applying Holzol Weather Stain Tints.
Always do a small area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.
Stir thoroughly before and periodically during application to ensure a consistent finish.
Please Note: Using these products in systems outside these guidelines can lead to immediate and latent problems with the integrity of the finish.
For smooth exterior wooden surfaces, this product can be cleaned using a damp lint-free cloth.
Please Note: Oiled wooden surfaces should not be cleaned with household detergents, bleach or aggressive cleaners as these may degrade or breakdown the oiled finish.
If the finish becomes tired looking or worn, abrade with 240 / 320 silicon carbide abrasive and apply a further coat of Holzol Weather Stain, following the Preparation and Application instructions above.
