Morrells Induro General Purpose Sealer is a state of the art, water-based, crosslinking floor primer which enhances the natural appearance of all solid and veneered timber, particularly oak and mahogany. It provides an excellent key for the application of many different top coats. When used with the tough, yet flexible Morrells Induro XL1 Floor Varnish and Morrells Induro XL2 Floor Varnish, it offers incredible clarity with outstanding chemical and mechanical resistance.
Please note: this product is not suitable for high-moisture areas, such as bathrooms and swimming pool walk ways.

Surfaces to be coated with Morrells Induro General Purpose Sealer should be clean, dry and free from all surface contaminants.
- Fill any gaps or imperfections in the wood with Morrells Two-Part Coloured Wood Fillers or Morrells Wax Filler Sticks
- Sand the wood to the correct grit, usually around P120 to P180, depending on wood type and project
- Vacuum all traces of sanding dust and if required, clean / degrease the timber with an uncoloured (white) cloth dampened with methylated or white spirit
- If required, wood can be stained with Morrells Light Fast Wood Stain before applying Induro General Purpose Sealer. Any wood stain used must be allowed to dry thoroughly before applying this primer

Please Note: Water-based primers for wood should not be used in areas of high humidity or condensation. Optimum application is achieved between 18°C and 22°C with good air movement and ventilation.
- Apply one flowing coat at a rate of 130-150ml per square metre with a good quality synthetic paint brush or microfibre roller
- Once dry, this product can be over-coated without the need for sanding / de-nibbing

Once dry, Morrells Induro General Purpose Sealer can be finished with Morrells Induro XL1 Floor Varnish, Morrells Induro XL2 Floor Varnish, or any other water-based floor lacquer, without the need for sanding.
Please note: this product is not compatible with solvent-based floor varnishes or lacquers.

Very good product
Sealant would have been useful in 2.5l as two coats of finish over the seal 5l did the job. 2.5l sealant unused! 25m2 sq floor.
