Ensure that surface to be painted is clean, dry and free from any dust, dirt, grease or any other surface contaminants.
- Remove any flaking or defective paint and sand down the wood surface to remove any sheen
- Seal any wood knots with a suitable knotting solution
- Fill any holes or gaps in the wood with a suitable wood filler

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess compatibility and consistency of the final finish and follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.
- Apply Dulux Non Drip Gloss using a good quality synthetic paint brush in the direction of the wood grain
- Allow 16 hours drying time between coats
- For significant colour change, further coats may be required
Cleaning
Once finished, scrape off any excess paint from your brush and clean it with a suitable paint brush cleaner.

If the finish shows signs of wear over time, simply apply a fresh coat of Dulux Non Drip Gloss, following the Preparation and Application instructions above.
