Overview
Ciranova Exterior Wood Varnish has been specially developed for those who not only want to protect their woodwork but also enhance its natural beauty, both indoors and outdoors. The UV-resistant, odourless formula ensures excellent adhesion and a durable, low-maintenance finish which provides maximum protection for outdoor and indoor woodwork.
Preparation
Ensure that surfaces to be treated are clean, dry and free of flaking varnish or old paint.
- Remove cracked varnish or paint if necessary
- Sand the surface with 120-grit sandpaper
- Ensure the wood is free from dust
- For exterior applications it is recommended to round off sharp corners of woodwork with 120-grit sandpaper to achieve a perfect coating
Application
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.
- Ready to use: do not dilute
- Apply with a brush or roller for large surfaces in 3 even coats
- 2 coats will be sufficient for interior wood
Drying Times
- Between coats: 3 hours
- Drying to the core: 48 hours
Aftercare
Ciranova Exterior Wood Varnish is self-renovating. Sanding the surface with 120-grit sandpaper is essential, after dusting, apply two coats.
