Bona Retarder is an additive that can be mixed with the range of Bona waterborne varnishes, lacquers and wood primers to improve the levelling properties and prolong the open time of the product.

Always apply a test area before starting any project to check compatibility and consistency of the finish. For the best results, please read and follow the information and instructions on the Bona Retarder label and those of any other products being used or mixed with this product.
Bona Retarder is designed to be used when the indoor humidity is low and / or the temperature of the room is higher than normal.
- Add a maximum of 4% Bona Retarder to the finish and shake thoroughly
- The top coat can then be applied as normal according to the application instructions on the product label
