Designed for sanding surfaces prior to the application of wood finishes such as waxes, varnishes and lacquers, Woodleys Flexible Sanding Pads are excellent for preparing otherwise difficult to reach surfaces, such as turned or shaped chair and table legs plus furniture trim and mouldings.
The fine grit lightly smooths (de-nibs) microscopic "nibs" or "bumps" that can occur in-between varnish coats from settled, trapped dust. With a specially woven structure that tends to resist clogging from wood particles, these pads can be used dry or wet for the removal of surface impurities from wood and furniture including dirt and oxides.
Sometimes referred to as synthetic steel wool, de-nibbing pads offer a cost effective alternative to other flattening mediums, such as sand paper and steel wool.
Woodleys Flexible Sanding Pads are excellent for flattening wooden surfaces or furniture prior to the application of wood finishing products or paints. Because of their flexibility and versatility, de-nibbing pads are now widely used by painters, decorators and craftsman and are often used in place of the more traditional sanding papers.

Great for concave surfaces
Cheap and cheerful, does the job though probably won't particularity last very long.

Great for in between varnish coats
Used these pads to smooth between varnish coats. Nice finish and they have lasted well with the light use on smooth doors.

An excellent product
This product is easy to apply and dries very quickly allowing subsequent coats to be applied after about 30 minutes. It dries very hard and is durable particularly for kitchen worktops,
