Sandtex 10 Year Exterior Multi-Surface Primer Undercoat is specially formulated to provide up to 10 years trusted durable protection for multiple surfaces. Its advanced water-based technology is mould resistant and flexible to resist cracking and flaking when paired with Sandtex 10 Year Exterior Multi-Surface Gloss Paint as a 2-step solution.
Ideal for use on wood, weathered PVC-u, brick, concrete, stone, aluminium and non-ferrous metal.

Before application, the surface needs to be clean and smooth. Remove any old peeling paint or rust, guaranteeing that the surface is free of any obtrusions and defects.
- Any grey or denatured timber will need sanding back to a clean smooth surface
- For bare wood, ensure the wood is dry, treat knots and resinous parts with a knotting solution
- For previously painted surfaces, wash with warm water detergent solution, rinse well with clean water and allow to dry
- Thoroughly abrade and dust off
- Remove all loose, flaking or suspect paint coatings
- Fill all voids and gaps with a suitable exterior filler

Always do a test area before starting any project to check suitability and compatibility. Do not use in temperatures below 8°C or in high humidity
- Ensure that the paint is well mixed beforehand by stirring the paint and always follow the manufacturer's instructions
- Apply using a good quality synthetic brush or medium pile roller
- Apply evenly and avoid over spreading
- Apply one coat of Sandtex 10 Year Exterior Multi-Surface Primer Undercoat followed by two to three coats of Sandtex 10 Year Exterior Multi-Surface Gloss Paint
- Allow 1 hour for the paint to dry between coats
