Sandtex 10 Year Exterior Multi-Surface Gloss is a water based exterior gloss paint designed to provide long lasting protection for a wide range of exterior surfaces. Its flexible, mould resistant finish helps resist cracking, peeling and flaking when used with Sandtex 10 Year Exterior Multi-Surface Primer Undercoat as part of a 2-step system.
Suitable for use on wood, weathered PVC-u, brick, concrete, stone, aluminium and non-ferrous metals, it provides a durable gloss finish for a variety of exterior projects around the home and garden. Ideal for doors, window frames, masonry, cladding and exterior trim, the flexible water based formulation helps maintain a smart, long lasting appearance on exterior surfaces.

Before applying Sandtex 10 Year Exterior Multi-Surface gloss paint, the surface needs to be clean, dry and free from dirt, grease and surface contamination. previously painted wood and metal must be thoroughly abraded to provide suitable adhesion.
- Fill all voids and gaps with a suitable exterior filler
- Grey denatured timber will need sanding back to a clean surface. For bare wood ensure wood is dry and treat knots and resinous parts with a knotting solution
- For non-ferrous metal surfaces (excluding galvanised) thoroughly abrade then wash with hot water and liquid detergent to remove contaminants
- Powdery and chalky surfaces must be stabilised with Sandtex Quick Drying Stabilising Solution
- For 10 year's protection and best results prime the surface with Sandtex 10 Year Exterior Multi-Surface Primer Undercoat

Always do a test area before starting any project to check suitability and compatibility.
- Ensure that the paint is well mixed beforehand by stirring the paint, and always follow the manufacturer's instructions
- Apply using a good quality synthetic brush or a short / medium pile roller
- Apply evenly and avoid overspreading
- For best results, 2-3 coats are recommended. Allow 6 hours drying time between coats, ensuring the previous coat is dry before application
- Do not use in temperatures below 8°C or in high humidity
- This product will provide up to 10 years protection, provided the manufacturer's instructions are fully carried out
- If you're using more than one batch of paint in the same area, mix them together in a large container to ensure you get consistency of colour
