Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver

Ronseal Decking Cleaner & Reviver is specially formulated to clean and revive weathered or tired-looking garden decking. Its fast acting formula removes moss, mould and algae whilst also brightening the wood and restoring it back to its natural appearance.

It is ideal for use prior to treatment with a suitable decking stain or decking oil, opening up the pores of the wood to allow maximum adhesion of the coating and a longer lasting finish. It can also be used as a general cleaner for brightening and enhancing wooden decking throughout the seasons.

Ensure that decking is free from any loose debris and accumulations of moss, mould and algae using a stiff brush before applying Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver.

Always do a small test area before beginning any project to assess performance, compatibility and end result. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.

1. Pour Decking Cleaner & Reviver directly onto the deck to be cleaned
2. Scrub the surface immediately using a stiff brush then leave for 15-20 minutes
3. For best results, wash the deck thoroughly with a pressure washer
4. Work from one end of a decking board to the other in a continuous motion
5. Alternatively, scrub the surface using a stiff brush then hose down
6. All cleaning residues must be completely washed away to maximise the performance of subsequent coatings

Some Points of Note

• Be aware that the surface may become slippery during cleaning
• If Decking Cleaner & Reviver comes into contact with surrounding grass or plants rinse thoroughly with water
• This product may remove partially deteriorated coatings
• Do not allow undiluted product to enter drains or watercourses

Cleaning Equipment

Clean equipment after use in warm water and detergent.

Once decking is fully dry, a suitable Ronseal Decking Stain can be applied for durable colour and protection, or a Ronseal Decking Oil for natural colour and nourishment.

Maintenance

Ronseal Decking Cleaner & Reviver can be used at regular intervals to enhance the look of garden decking. Decking should be inspected on an annual basis and cleaned, then re-coated as appropriate with a Ronseal finish.
