Ensure the project area is clean and free of debris and can provide a solid surface for the filler to adhere to.
- On soft or friable wood, it is advised to apply a wood hardener
- Remove any loose debris to guarantee a strong bond for Prestonett Ready Mixed Wood Repair Filler
- Clean the area with a suitable detergent if oil or grease are present and then wash away any residue
- Wash the project area to remove any dust and ensure the area is dry and clean

Always do a test area before starting the project to assess the suitability and final finish. Also, follow the manufacturer's instructions.
- Massage the tube beforehand to ensure the wood filler is properly mixed
- Insert the ready mixed paste into the cracks, holes and blemishes with the use of a filler knife, such as Mako Filler Knife
- Unlimited working time to apply the Prestonett Ready Mixed Wood Repair Filler
- Can be applied up to a thickness of 5mm
- Can be overcoated 4 hours after application
