Applying Nitrocellulose Lacquer has never been easier than with these handy Morrells Nitrocellulose Lacquer Sprays.

Offering a convenient way of applying a solvent-based spray lacquer without the need for a dedicated spray system, this product is perfect for on-site work or finishing small projects such as musical instruments, including guitars and drums.

Please Note: Morrells Nitrocellulose Lacquer Spray is not recommended for projects larger than half a square metre on any one area.

Ensure the surface to be sprayed is clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, grease, polish or any other surface contaminants.

If a colour change is required, apply desired number of coats of Morrells Light Fast Wood Stain and allow to dry thoroughly.

Always do a small test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and follow the manufacturer's instructions on the can at all times.

  1. Shake can for at least 2 minutes before use
  2. Spray several thin coats from a distance of 25-30cm
  3. Keep the can moving from side to side at all times
  4. Allow to dry for 20 minutes before sanding and application of further coats

Drying time will vary according to the type of finish, film thickness and ambient temperature.

Fantastic and easy to use
Such a great product, easy to use and fits in brilliantly. Simply spray on and let it dry, I do a little light sanding in-between coats as I have previously found it gives a better finish. Once dry simply buff to the desired sheen. Great product I will definitely be purchasing again.

Just an excellent product
This gets used on laminated wood rifle stocks and gives a great flat sheen to them. Easy to use rattle can gives a good spray pattern.

I use this for finishing laminated wood Airgun stocks. It gives an excellent finish and very quick too as you can build up a few coats in no time even with a rub down between coats.

Great product if you don’t have a spray system
