Morrells Probond Polyurethane Glue is an industrial strength adhesive with foaming properties that is perfect for filling gaps and joints in furniture and flooring. Its superior strength means it can bond metal to wood if required.

Preparation

Preparation

Back

Ensure that wood to be glued is sound, clean, dry and free of any dust, dirt or other surface contaminants.

Application

Application

Back

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess performance and end result. Follow the manufacturers instructions on the container at all times.

  1. About 30ml of this glue is required for each square meter of wood to be bonded (it expands to about 3 times its size)
  2. Simply apply straight to the wood or other substrate directly from the container
  3. Once applied, Morrells Probond Polyurethane Glue takes around 5 - 10 minutes for an initial tack time
  4. A firm bond is usually achieved in around 4 hours, with a fully hardened bond within 24 hours
  5. Once dry, the glue hardens enabling any excess to be easily removed with a scraper or peeled off by hand

Excellent glue
Husband had run out of his favourite brand of glue and I saw this and thought to give it a try. He was very impressed with it and would now not hesitate to buy it again. Praise indeed.

OK for gap filling
more like a foam filler than a glue - but less messy than foam

Did a good job of with my squeaky stair treads
Never new this existed until my young nephew (a carpenter recommended it). Found it's way to the places it needed to be. Now have other difficult to access places in mind to use it.

Works really well
Tends to spread a lot when used, so keep a cloth handy, but really good wood glue. Dries white.
