Manns Classic Beeswax Polish can be quickly and easily applied to most interior wooden surfaces. It is perfect for obtaining a natural wax finish and can be buffed to achieve a high sheen on bare or previously finished wooden surfaces.
Manns Beeswax Polish can also be used as a leather conditioner, restorer, softener and protector. The wax melts into the leather as it's applied and dries to form a protective, water-resistant layer. This layer of protection insulates the leather and prevents oil, grease and dirt from clogging the surface pores.
Please note: The formulation, packaging and 'in tin' appearance of this product changed from June 2018. The beeswax polish however is of the same high-quality and produces an equally high-quality finish.
Wood surfaces can be stained prior to applying Manns Beeswax Polish if a particular colour is desired.
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.
To achieve a deep lustre, buff the freshly applied Wax with a soft, lint-free cloth or buffing brush.
Surfaces are normally re-coated every 12-18 months, although many people re-wax on a more regular basis. Additional coats of beeswax polish will offer an improved patina.
Areas that become scuffed or marked can be easily repaired by gently rubbing the damaged area with a Woodleys Finishing Pad or similar abrasive material, then re-applying Manns Classic Beeswax Polish to the damaged area for an invisible repair.
This product is a soft coating that stays on the surface of the wood. For this reason, it isn't really durable enough to be used on a high traffic area such as a tabletop. Call our Woodcare Experts for advice on the best finish suitable for your project on 01303 213838
