Overview
Liberon Natural Finish Floor Varnish is designed to better retain the natural, untreated appearance of wooden floors. Specifically formulated to prevent the darkening or damp appearance normally associated with other clear floor oils and varnishes.
Please Note: While this product may slightly darken some wood species although most woods will not be affected by this varnish.
The natural feel created by this product is due to the fact that it creates a more textured feel than other water-based varnishes.

Ensure that floors to be varnished have been properly and correctly sanded, are clean, dry and free from dust, dirt or any other surface contaminants.
- Any previous finishes must be removed and the surface stripped back to bare wood
- Remove any existing wax finishes using Liberon Wax and Polish Remover
- Any previous varnishes can be removed with a suitable paint and varnish remover
- Fill any gaps or imperfections with a product from the range of Liberon wood fillers or an alternative floor filler
- Ensure that floors are sanded correctly and are ready for the varnish
- Take care to remove all traces of sanding dust and debris with a vacuum cleaner

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
- Shake / stir the contents of the tin thoroughly before and periodically during use
- Apply the first coat of varnish evenly, using a suitable floor brush, pad, or short hair roller
- Allow to dry for a minimum of 2 hours before applying further coats
- Liberon recommend a minimum of 3 coats, sanding lightly between coats
- More coats may be required for heavy traffic areas
- Allow the final coat of varnish a minimum of 24 hours drying time before using the floor

Regular Cleaning
Varnished surfaces can be wiped over with a damp, lint-free cloth or microfibre mop, using a dedicated floor cleaner if required. Any spillages must be wiped up immediately.
Maintenance
If the surface shows signs of wear, simply apply a fresh coat of Liberon Natural Finish Floor Varnish, following the 'preperation' and 'application' instructions above.

Easy to apply and brings out the grain in a parquet floor leaving a pleasing satin finish
Second application after over five years since the first to a lightly used chancel floor. Being water based there are no unpleasant vapours and brush easily cleaned with water.

Great service
Very easy to place order. Delivered as stated - next day. Varnish easy to apply, looks very natural, even to the point you have to double check. We have used this in our hallway and wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Couldn't fault this product or service
This is one of the better companies, who seem to get it right. The product is really good, after three coats, used a roller to put on, and didn't bother sanding between coats.
Very happy all round, and not only would I not hesitate to use this company again, I will actively be telling others to.

Lovely finish
Liberon natural matt floor varnish is perfect for a natural look on sanded wood floors,non yellowing and cheaper than Bona!

Great product!
Had not previously used Liberon products, chose this product after considerable research to finish my stripped 1930s stair treads. Very happy with the product. I applied 3 coats in total over a chalk paint white wash. The grain was raised a little, which is the effect I wanted. I did not stand in between coats because I didn't want to have a slippery finish. Really pleased !
