Designed for use on mineral surfaces such as render, brick and stone, these tester pots allow you to see how shades appear in natural daylight and changing weather conditions.
Exterior colours can vary significantly depending on light levels, surroundings and surface texture. Colours often appear lighter outdoors, so it is worth considering a slightly darker tone than you might choose for interior spaces. Testing directly on your masonry helps ensure you achieve the right look while avoiding costly mistakes. Earthborn's breathable silicate formula bonds with the surface, making it especially suited to traditional and solid wall properties.
It is important to assess your chosen colour in a range of conditions, including bright sunlight, overcast weather, and at different times of day such as morning and evening. This gives a more accurate understanding of how the shade will appear once fully applied.

- Check weather conditions - Only apply in dry conditions, avoiding rain, frost and direct strong sunlight.
- Ensure surfaces are sound - Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and loose material.
- Remove contamination - Treat and remove algae, mould or grease before application.
- Allow surfaces to dry - Damp or recently cleaned surfaces should be fully dry before painting.
- Mask surrounding areas - Protect windows, paths and adjacent surfaces from splashes.
