Surfaces to be primed must be clean, dry and free from grease, dust, wax or any other contaminants.
- Remove any fungal growth or mould with a scraper and treat with a fungicidal wash / mould and mildew cleaner
- Melamine and bare wood surfaces can be directly primed
- Previously painted wood surfaces should be lightly sanded before priming to provide a key
- Take care to remove all traces of sanding dust with a vacuum cleaner of damp cloth

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish with the top coat applied. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C. Stir well before use.
- Apply the primer liberally and evenly with a good quality synthetic brush or other suitable applicator such as a foam roller
- Allow primer to harden for 24 hours before applying a top coat of Earthborn paint
Cleaning Equipment
Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. Clean all your decorating equipment immediately after use with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
