Cuprinol Ultimate Furniture Oil Spray

Cuprinol Ultimate Furniture Oil Spray is a high performance, water-based treatment for hardwood garden furniture in a convenient trigger spray bottle. Regular application will protect and nourish wooden furniture and help prevent wood from greying, maintaining it's original appearance.

Please Note: This product is only suitable for use on untreated garden furniture and cannot be used over solvent-based oils.

Ensure that garden furniture to be treated is clean, dry and free from any dust, dirt, organic debris or any other surface contaminants.

1. Any previous stains should be removed back to bare wood by sanding or using a suitable wood stripper
2. Remove any surface dirt and soiling, large areas of algae, lichen, fungi or moss with a stiff brush or scraper
3. If the wood has been contaminated with biological growth, treat with a suitable mould and mildew cleaner
4. Fill any gaps or splits in the wood with Cuprinol All Purpose Wood Filler or Cuprinol Ultra Tough Wood Filler
5. Before oiling, prepare the garden furniture with a suitable cleaner such as Cuprinol Garden Furniture Cleaner
6. To restore the appearance of grey and weathered furniture, use Cuprinol Garden Furniture Restorer prior to oiling

Always do a small test area before starting any project and follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times. Shake thoroughly before use.

1. Apply at least 2 generous coats from a distance of approximately 15cm (6") coats, wiping away any excess with a damp, lint-free cloth
2. Do not concentrate the spray on one spot, spray in a horizontal or vertical line across the wood surface
3. Allow 6 hours between coats
4. Allow 24 - 48 hours to fully dry before use - drying times can vary depending on the outside temperature and type of wood

After Use

After use, wipe the nozzle clean with a damp, lint-free cloth. When using again, in case of blockage, unscrew the nozzle from the spray bottle, place the dip tube into a container of clean water and spray until the water coming through the nozzle is clean.

Maintenance

To maintain the finish and its protective properties, simply re-apply a fresh coat of Cuprinol Ultimate Furniture Oil Spray, following the Preparation and Application instructions above.
