Sweep decking with a stiff brush or broom to remove all surface contaminates, such as dirt, grit and organic matter, including leaves, twigs and moss. If there are signs of mould or algae on the surface of the deck, these should be treated with Cuprinol Decking Cleaner before applying Total Deck restorer.

Always do a small test area before beginning any project to assess the end result. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.
Cover any surfaces nearby in case of splashing. Any splashes should be cleaned up immediately (whilst still wet) with water and household detergent. Do not apply in temperatures below 5℃, in damp conditions or if rain is likely before product has fully dried.
- Apply Cuprinol Total Deck with a stiff garden broom for optimum finish
- Pour Total Deck into a container that is large enough to dip the garden broom into
- Scrub 1 coat evenly along the grain, avoiding overlaps
- Apply pressure when using the garden broom to remove greyness from the surface of decking and to maintain an even finish. The more pressure applied the better the final finish will be
- Avoid heavy use of the decking for at least 24 hours after application

Great Product
My deck was untreated for 6/7 years and this has restored the timber to looking good.
Easy to apply with a sweeping brush and great look.

Effective, expensive but efficient in coverage
First couple of soakings has shown it is extending drying time of the decking which means less water being absorbed if any.
