Overview

Osmo Wash and Care cleaner is a specially formulated wood cleaner suitable for cleaning and maintaining oil and wax finishes. Its pH balanced formula quickly and effectively cleans wooden flooring, furniture, doors, wall and ceiling panels to leave a streak free finish.

This product can be used in conjunction with any of the following Osmo cleaning products:

Preparation

Dry clean wooden surfaces with a mop, vacuum cleaner, lint-free or microfiber cloth to remove surface dirt, dust and debris before cleaning with Osmo Wash and Care.

Application

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.

For regular cleaning, mix 15ml of Wash and Care per 2 litres water
Load your cleaning applicator with the cleaning solution, ringing out until damp but not soaking wet
Clean with a microfibre cloth for small areas or a suitable applicator for larger areas
Remove any excess cleaning solution and wipe dry
For heavy stains, we recommend using Wash and Care as a non-diluted concentrate

Aftercare

Regular Cleaning

If floors require re-cleaning, simply clean with Osmo Wash and Care following the Preparation and Application instructions above.

Deep Cleaning

For extremely persistent stains or renovating a badly worn oiled surface, we recommend using Osmo Liquid Wax Cleaner.

Using a mop with one bucket containing this and water and another with water only for rinsing it does an OK job. When I use the Osmo wax cleaner after this I find the floor is still a bit dirty. I suppose the difficulty is that a thorough cleaner would be too harsh on the wood and quickly strip it. Haven't found anything better.
