For best results, guarantee that the project area is clean and smooth of all defects and is clear of dust or any form of surface contaminants.

• Lay down dust sheets to prevent spillages from damaging furniture, wood flooring and carpet
• Special care should be taken if removing pre-1960s paint surfaces as they may contain harmful quantities of lead
• Make sure that all gaps and cracks have been filled using a suitable wall filler for interior use
• If a liquid cleaning product has been used, ensure the surface is thoroughly dry before application of the paint
• If being applied to wood, prime the project area to help produce an opaque, flawless finish
• If the surface remains powdery then seal the surface with an appropriate sealer
• If applying to a painted surface then thoroughly abrade the surface to help the emulsion adhere to the surface
• Avoid applying in humid and damp conditions or in room temperatures less than 10°C

Always do a test area beforehand to ensure suitability for the project area and to follow the manufacturer's instructions.

• When applying to a new or porous surfaces, seal with paint diluted with 40% cold water
• Guarantee the Crafted by Crown Luxurious Flat Matt Emulsion is thoroughly mixed by being well stirred
• Apply with using either a brush or a medium pile roller for smooth results
• Apply with well measured strokes, ensuring a good and even distribution of the paint
• Ensure you are painting in a well ventilated area avoiding damp or humid conditions
• For an opaque coverage it is required to apply a minimum of two coats
• For optimum colour change you may need to apply further coats, allowing for 4 hours drying time in-between

Regular Cleaning

• For standard cleaning, wipe with a slightly damp, lint free cloth

Maintenance

• If looking faded after a period of time, then simply reapply another coat following the instructions above
