Overview
Colron Liquid Scratch Cover is a repair system designed to cover up scratches on finished wooden surfaces including waxed, polished and cellulose-based finishes on fine wooden furniture and much more. Formulated from a blend of natural waxes. Supplied with a brush inside the lid.
Please Note: If the product is solid, warm the container up in your hands for 5-10 minutes. Alternatively, the container can be left in a bowl of warm water for 2-3 minutes.
- For larger repairs such as deep scratches, dents and gouges, use Colron Wax Repair Sticks or an alternative wood filler suitable for the project

Ensure that surface to be treated is free of dust, loose dirt or other surface contaminants prior to applying Liquid Scratch Cover.

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturers instructions on the container at all times. If the liquid appears at all solid, allow to reach room temperature before use.
- Shake well before using
- Using the supplied brush, apply a generous amount of scratch cover over the affected area until well filled
- Leave to dry for 1 hour
- Remove any excess product by wiping with a Colron Craftsmens Cloth, or by scraping away the excess with a rigid, straight-sided implement
- Buff treated area using a clean cloth
- For deeper scratches, build up damaged area with multiple coats

It does the job as advertised
It does the job as advertised, but is restricted in the range of colours available. There is a greater colour range of wax fillers available. It is however easily applied and does cover the underlying light wood of a scratch on polished surfaces.
