Ciranova Un1co is a 2 component, 1 coat oil of the newest generation, based on renewable materials. Thanks to its special technology, only one coat needs to be applied. The combination of oil and hardener provides fast drying and excellent chemical resistance. Ideal for adding colour to wooden floors or furniture.

Please note: The 100ml is a sample size and can be used to assess the colour and sheen of the product. This does not come with the hardener and will not give you the same performance as the full two-part version.

Preparation

Make sure that all old finish coats are completely removed and that the wood is free from dust and other dirt. Ciranova Un1co can be used on sanded, planed and brushed wood.

Application

Back

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish, especially on exotic wood species. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the bottle at all times.

Stir and shake well before and during use
Mix the oil with the hardener 100/30 and let the product rest for about 10 minutes.
Once mixed, you will have an hour and half working time.
Apply evenly with a buffing machine, brush or roller.
Let the oil sit and remove excess oil within 15 minutes with a buffing pad or cloth until the surface feels hand-dry

Finishing

For the best possible protection and reduced maintenance, Un1co can be finished with Ciranova Titan Hardwax Oil . Let the Un1co cure for 5 days before applying Ciranova Titan Hardwax Oil by roller.

Aftercare

Back

For regular maintenance, we recommend Ciranova Flooring Soap. For periodic maintenance, use Ciranova Maintenance Oil, or first use Ciranova Intensive Cleaner in case of heavy dirt. Un1co is only fully hardened after 7 days. During this period, the wood cannot be treated with maintenance products.
