Bona Polish leaves an exceptionally durable wear layer on the floor making it suitable for use in both domestic and commercial locations. Used as a maintenance product, to refresh tired floors or to increase the depth of shine in a freshly varnished floor. It can be used on a variety of flooring surfaces, including varnished wooden floors and also laminate flooring, linoleum, PVC and ceramic tiles.
Please Note: Bona Polish is not suitable for use on wooden floors that have been waxed or oiled.
See below for alternative Bona maintenance products to get the best out of your flooring:
|Bona Freshen Up||A ready-to-use, water-based polyurethane maintenance coat to freshen up most finished and pre-finished wooden floors in both commercial and domestic areas|
|Bona Wood Floor Polish||A ready-to-use maintenance coating for previously varnished or painted wooden floors|
|Bona Wood Floor Refresher||An all-in-one maintenance coating for previously varnished or painted wooden floors|
Ensure floors to be treated are clean, dry and free of any loose dirt, grit or other surface contaminants by vacuuming or sweeping with a dry microfibre mop. Then, to remove any stubborn scuffs, stains or marks, use a dedicated pH balanced wood floor cleaner, such as Bona Cleaner Concentrate or Bona Wood Floor Cleaner Refill.
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times. Shake container thoroughly before use.
Wet cleaning of the floor may be resumed after three days. For regular cleaning, use Bona Cleaner Concentrate.
Please Note: Avoid using strong alkaline cleaning agents or household detergents / cleaners as these can degrade or remove the protective polish coating.
If the finished surface becomes worn or tired-looking over time, simply re-apply a fresh coat of Bona Polish, following the Application instructions above. If you need to remove the polish for any reason, use Bona Remover.
