Barrettine Low Odour White Spirit is just like standard white spirit, except for it's much-reduced odour, making it especially useful for indoor projects and for use in confined spaces. Ideal as a thinner for paints due to its high solvency, quick drying properties and lack of greasiness.

Is Barrettine Low Odour White Spirits the same as odourless mineral thinner?
Low odour white spirit and mineral thinners are similar products, often used for similar purposes in painting and cleaning. However, there are some differences between them. In short, while low odour white spirit can be considered a type of mineral thinner but not all mineral thinners are low odour white spirit. The term "mineral thinner" is broader and can encompass various petroleum-based solvents with different properties.

Good stuff
This was good white spirit to use as it hadn't got that very pungent smell which I was very grateful of and it didn't dry the skin on my hands as white spirit usually does. It cleaned the brushes well and left bristles flexible.

Cleans brushes well - definitely less odour/fumes than standard white spirit.

Good stuff!
Excellent product. Works as well as any white spirit I have ever used but smells much less. Some of them can be quite overpowering but this one is far more pleasant. There is an odour but it doesn't knock you back!

Excellent odour free white spirit
