Before application, the surface needs to be clean and smooth. Remove any old peeling paint or rust, ensuring that the surface is smooth. If any cleaning products are used, then ensure that the project area is thoroughly dry before application.
- If the area needs repairing then fill any cracks or gaps with a suitable product for the project. Also, if the area has any mould, then Sandtex Fungicidal Wash can remove the mould and reduce the amount of staining residue left behind
- Consider using a primer to help the paint adhere to the surface
- Also ensure you have the right tools for the project, such as ProDec Premier Synthetic Brush, cleaners and sanding tools available in our tools and accessories section

Always do a test area before starting any project to check suitability and compatibility.
- Ensure that the paint is well mixed beforehand by stirring the paint and always follow the manufacturer's instructions
- Sandtex One Coat exterior gloss paint can be applied by brush
- Ensure the brush strokes are producing an even covering in all directions, avoiding overspreading
- Surface is touch dry in 6 hours
- Do not apply during inclement weather and when there is a risk of frost, rain or snow or temperatures fall below 8 degrees centigrade

To keep the painted finish in good repair, it can be necessary to maintain the area.
- Wash the painted regularly with soap and water
- If organic growth becomes an issue, consider using Sandtex Fungicidal Wash

Quick coverage brilliant shine
Usually use crown or dulux but this product blows them out the water coverage is amazing sandtex is my new go to brand
