Rust-Oleum CombiPrimer Anti-Corrosion Primer is a solvent based primer specifically designed for new or slightly rusted metal to provide and enhance protection against corrosion. By containing rust inhibiting pigments, it ensures long lasting protection against rust and corrosion.

Before application, the surface area needs to be clean and smooth. Remove any old peeling paint or flaking rust, guaranteeing the surface is smooth with no obtrusions and all gaps and cracks have been filled with a suitable product.
- Remove grease, oil and all other surface contaminations by alkaline or high pressure (steam) cleaning in combination with appropriate detergents
- Also eliminate all loose rust flakes and old paint with a wire brush
- Sand intact coatings to roughen the surface slightly
- The surface must be clean and dry during application

Always make a test area before starting any project to check compatibility and suitability.
- Make sure the paint is well mixed by stirring and following the manufacturer's recommendations
- Rust-Oleum CombiPrimer Anti-Corrosion Primer can be applied with either a brush or a roller
- Ensure the brush strokes are making an even covering in all directions
- Allow 4 hours drying time between coats
- If necessary apply a second coat to ensure an even and opaque finish
- To clean the tools after the application use either Rust-Oleum CombiColor Thinner or white spirit
