By containing a special formula to adhere to the metal surface, it ensures long lasting results, helping the metalwork to remain looking fresh and vibrant.

Preparation

Before application, the surface area needs to be clean and smooth. Remove any old peeling paint or flaking rust, guaranteeing the surface is smooth with no obtrusions and all gaps and cracks have been filled with a suitable product.

Remove grease, oil and all other surface contaminations by alkaline or high pressure cleaning
Remove previous coatings completely
The surface must be clean and dry during application

Application

Always make a test area before starting any project to check compatibility and suitability.

Make sure the paint is well mixed by stirring and following the manufacturer's recommendations
Apply Rust-Oleum CombiPrimer Adhesion Primer with a good quality natural bristle brush
Ensure the brush strokes are making an even covering in all directions
Allow a minimum of 30 minutes drying time between coats
If necessary apply a second coat to ensure an even and opaque finish
To clean the tools after the application use Rust-Oleum CombiColor Thinner or white spirit
