Ronseal Garden Furniture Cleaner

Ronseal Garden Furniture Cleaner is a handy grab-and-go furniture cleaner spray that is perfect for cleaning all types of softwood and hardwood garden furniture.

It's perfect as a pre-treatment before applying a wood stain or oil, such as Ronseal Ultimate Protection Hardwood Furniture Oil.

Please Note: This product is not suitable for use on garden furniture that has been previously waxed or polished.

Ensure that wood surfaces to be cleaned are sound, dry and frost-free.

• Lightly sand or use a stiff brush to remove any surface wood fibres or splinters
• If the colour of timber has turned grey / silver over time, it can be restored prior to oiling with Ronseal Hardwood Garden Furniture Restorer

Always do a test area before starting any project to check suitability and compatibility. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the bottle at all times.

Do not apply Ronseal Garden Cleaner in wet conditions or if rain, frost or snow is likely before the product is dry. Use neat, do not dilute. Shake thoroughly before application.

1. Spray Ronseal Garden Furniture Cleaner onto the area to be cleaned.
2. Scrub the surface immediately using a stiff brush then leave for 10-20 minutes
3. Wash off thoroughly with water

All cleaning residues must be thoroughly washed away in order to maximise the performance of subsequent coatings.

Once the cleaner has dried, garden furniture can be treated with a Ronseal Garden Furniture Oil for a clear finish, or with Ronseal Ultimate Protection Hardwood Garden Furniture Stain for a coloured finish.

Please Note: When staining garden furniture, the colour of the wood will affect the colour of the stain applied once dry. Always do a test area before beginning any project to assess the end result.

Q: Can I use this product on a garden bench that has been previously oiled?

A: Yes, you can. Ronseal Garden Furniture Cleaner is perfect for use on all types of hardwood and softwood furniture, whether bare wood or previously finished. The only exception to this is where garden furniture has been treated with a wax or polish, in which case this product should not be used.
