Polyvine Glass Frosting is a unique, water-based coating designed to create the effect of etched glass on most interior glass and plastic surfaces. Transform windows, mirrors and more by adding stunning designs with the use of stencils.

Preparation

Preparation

Back

Ensure that surfaces to be treated are at room temperature and are clean, dry and free from dirt, dust, grease, wax, polish and any other surface contaminants.

Application

Application

Back

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.

  1. Ensure the surface is at room temperature
  2. Lightly apply using a synthetic roller or sponge, to create the desired texture
  3. If using a stencil, use masking tape to secure in place
  4. Carefully remove the stencil before the coating dries
Cleaning Equipment

Application equipment can be cleaned using soap and water before the coating dries. Any dried deposits will need a paint stripper for removal. Once cleaned, allow to dry naturally.

Regular Cleaning

Surfaces coated with Polyvine Glass Frosting should be cleaned with warm soapy water. Never use household detergents or solvent-based cleaners as these can damage the finish.
