A traditional, dead matt paint suitable for use on a variety of surfaces, both interior and exterior, including wood, MDF, metal, plastic, tile, masonry, plaster, and uPVC. Also suitable for walls. The product has been formulated to be easily applied using a brush, roller, or a paint sprayer. EN13300 Class 1, Certified Class 1 European standards scrub test.
Looking for an alternative sheen, also available in Eggshell, Gloss and Satin.
Ensure that wood to be painted is clean, dry and free from traces of dust, dirt or any other surface contaminants.
Always perform a test area before starting any project to judge the suitability, effectiveness and finish of the product.
The substrate and air temperature should be 8-10°C or above for application and during cure. Make sure the moisture content of the wood is below 15% before coating. Damp or rotting wood should never be painted. This will result in flaking and general breakdown quite quickly.
The surface will give up to ten years protection in perfect conditions and fully maintained. This means cleaning off any dirt a few times a year and applying another coat of paint every three years.
All paints' pigment will fade a little in direct sunlight. Don't paint on to decking or other completely flat surfaces. Make sure sanding debris doesn't land on the wet paint, i.e. don't sand areas near to where you have just applied wet paint.
