Overview
Liberon Superior Decking Stain is a versatile product which gives a water, UV-resistant and anti-slip finish to most types of exposed timber. The finish will form a protective barrier against weathering, sunlight and extreme temperatures from -10°C to +35°C.

The wood to be stained must be clean, dry, in good condition and not greasy. Sand corners and edges to round them slightly.
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from previous finishes and dust. Lightly sand new wood and clean old wood with Liberon Tough Deck Clean and Revive
- Hardwoods: It is recommended to leave the wood exposed for up to 12 months before applying this product. This allows the grain in the wood to open and breathe and aids adhesion of the product

Always test product as may not be suitable for some exotic hardwoods, test first on an inconspicuous area
- Ideal application conditions are between 12° and 25°C, in dry weather
- Stir very well before use to mix all the ingredients in the tin
- Ensure the weather conditions will be dry for 24 hours before application
- Apply a not too thick coat of Superior Decking Stain with a paint brush or roller
- Allow to dry for 2 hours then apply a second coat
- Any unabsorbed product remaining on the surface should be evened out with a brush to avoid unsightly marks
- Leave to dry for at least 24 hours before use

During the next season, it is recommended to apply a further coat of Liberon Superior Decking Stain if necessary. For general maintenance, clean with water.

This is a water-based product. Clean your tools out with warm soapy water.

Good colour for older decking
Our deck is old and badly degraded in places, from age but also from previous coatings. Very happy with the ease of application, coverage and colour. Have used cheaper/more familiar brands in the past but this is worth the small difference in price. Would buy again. Very easy to apply with Osmo brush and a pole. Job done in a few hours. Prep work took longer than staining. As did waiting for a weather window!

Great results for an excellent price
I bought this to re-furbish an old decking. After 2 coats the results were far better than I hoped. Given the decking another few years of life. Will re-coat again in a years time to keep it looking frtesh.
