Holzol Floor Oil

Holzol Floor Oil is a trade quality floor oil suitable for all domestic and commercial floors. A natural oil/hybrid resin blend designed to achieve a tough floor finish and enhance grain definition. Water and dirt repellent and supremely durable.

• Add colour to interior wooden floors with Holzol Floor Oil Tints. These oil-based wood stains come in a range of attractive wood shades to colour, enhance and protect wooden flooring

Ensure that floors to be treated are clean, dry and free from traces of dust, dirt, oil, grease, wax and silicone.

• Old finishes, including paints and varnishes, must be fully removed back to bare wood before applying a floor oil
• When using this product to re-vitalise the appearance of flooring damaged by scratch and scuff marks, first ensure the floor is cleaned and buffed dry to achieve best results
• If the floor has been previously coloured with a floor stain or pigmented wood oil and has worn through, worn areas should be refinished prior to applying a fresh coat of clear Holzol Floor Oil

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.

1. Apply Holzol Floor Oil thinly with a natural bristle brush or microfibre roller
2. Allow to dry for 3 - 4 hours, then lightly abrade / denib with a finishing pad, removing any dust
3. Apply a second coat and allow another 3 - 4 hours to dry
4. The final finish can be lightly buffed with a soft lint-free cloth if desired to improve the sheen level

Regular Cleaning

Oiled floors can be cleaned with a slightly dampened lint-free cloth or wood floor mop. For more intense cleaning, use a dedicated, pH balanced wood floor cleaner.

Maintenance

If the finish becomes tired looking or damaged, abrade with 240 / 320 silicon carbide abrasive and apply a further coat of Holzol Floor Oil, following the Preparation and Application instructions above.
