Dulux Trade Weathershield Fungicidal Wash is a ready to use multi-surface formula designed for cleaning all bare or painted wood and masonry surfaces contaminated with moulds, algae and fungi.

To get the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry.
- Remove as much mould, algae or lichen as possible by scraping and brushing before treating
- Where old growths have been trapped between previous coats, all existing coatings need to be removed
- Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces as the coating may contain harmful lead

Always do a test area before starting any project to test for compatibility and adhesion. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.
This product should also not be applied in wet weather
- Shake container thoroughly before use
- Apply by brush or low pressure (non-atomising) spray to all affected areas
- Leave until dry (minimum 1 hour). then remove any dead growth with brush or by washing the treated area; failure to do this may result in discolouration of subsequently applied coatings
- Repeat the process if necessary
- On badly affected areas the use of a high pressure water-hosing may be necessary
