Dulux Light and Space Matt Paint

Dulux Light and Space Matt Paint is a durable matt emulsion for interior walls and ceilings. Its light reflecting technology reflects twice the light to standard emulsions, making small rooms look and feel more spacious. Choose from an attractive range of Dulux Light and Space colours to enhance any room.

For best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from dirt, dust or any other surface contaminants.

1. Remove all loose and defective paint with a paint scraper, by sanding, or with a paint stripper
2. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces as they may contain harmful lead
3. Where necessary, wash the surface to remove dirt, grease and powdery or dusty residues
4. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry
5. Any surface defects should be filled with an appropriate filler
6. If required, rub down surfaces and then wipe off with a damp, lint-free cloth to remove dust
7. Seal all surfaces that remain powdery after thorough preparation with an appropriate plaster sealer

For best colour consistency, purchase sufficient paint for each project including enough for touch-in at a later time.

1. Ensure area is well ventilated
2. Stir the paint thoroughly before and periodically during use
3. Apply 2 coats of Dulux Light and Space Matt Paint using a good quality synthetic brush or microfibre roller
4. Allow 2 - 4 hours drying time between coats
5. For significant colour change, further coats may be required

Please note: Not suitable where condensation is a problem e.g. kitchens and bathrooms. Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.

To maintain the finish, simply apply a fresh coat of Dulux Light and Space Matt Paint, following the Preparation and Application instructions.

The Absolute White is a slight off white. For a brighter white consider one of the other paints by Dulux listed as 'Pure Brilliant White' such as Dulux Walls and Ceilings Matt Paint.

In areas where condensation, humidity and grease could be a problem, we would recommend using a specifically formulated paint such as Dulux Easycare Kitchen Matt.
