Dulux Easycare Kitchen Matt

Dulux Easycare Kitchen Matt is a water-based emulsion designed for kitchen walls and ceilings, providing exceptionally tough grease and stain resistance with its grease proof formulation. Washable surface that won't fade over time, providing long lasting colour and protection.

For best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from dirt, dust or any other surface contaminants.

1. Remove all loose and defective paint with a paint scraper, by sanding, or with a paint stripper
2. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces as they may contain harmful lead
3. Where necessary, wash the surface to remove dirt, grease and powdery or dusty residues
4. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry
5. Any surface defects should be filled with an appropriate filler
6. If required, rub down surfaces and then wipe off with a damp, lint-free cloth to remove dust
7. Seal all surfaces that remain powdery after thorough preparation with an appropriate plaster sealer

Remove any pre-existing mould and fungi using an appropriate mould and mildew cleaner.

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.

Use only in well ventilated areas.

For best colour consistency, purchase sufficient paint for each project including enough for touch-in at a later time.

1. Stir the paint thoroughly before and periodically during use
2. Apply 2 coats of Dulux Easycare Kitchen Matt using a good quality synthetic brush or microfibre roller
3. Allow 5 hours drying time between coats
4. For significant colour change, further coats may be required

To maintain the finish, simply apply a fresh coat of Dulux Easycare Kitchen Matt paint, following the Preparation and Application instructions above.

Although this will be fine as the MDF is sealed, it is worthwhile considering the purpose of the MDF as the paint will not be suitable for all projects, it is designed specifically for walls and ceilings.
