Overview

Crown One Coat Gloss is a solvent-based gloss paint that provides a high shine finish for interior and exterior wood, metal and PVCu without the need for an undercoat.

Preparation

Ensure that all surfaces to be painted are clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and other surface contaminants.

If necessary, move or cover furniture or areas that are not to be painted
Previously painted surfaces should be thoroughly sanded to provide a sound key for painting
Remove all traces of sanding dust with a vacuum cleaner or slightly damp, lint-free cloth
If you are painting a bare surface you will need to prepare it using a suitable Crown primer

Application

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions at all times.

Do not apply Crown One Coat Gloss in damp or humid conditions or in rooms with a temperature less than 10°C

Stir the paint thoroughly before and periodically during use to ensure a consistent finish.

Apply Crown One Coat Gloss with a good quality brush
Load brushes generously and apply nice and evenly, making sure you don't overspread
In warm, dry conditions, paint can dry rapidly and over brushing should be avoided
Allow 6 hours for paint to fully dry
