Crown Quick Dry Eggshell

Crown Quick Dry Eggshell paint is a Vegan Verified water-based paint that provides a tough, wipeable, low-shine finish with long lasting whiteness for interior and exterior wood, metal, and PVCu. Ideal for interior doors, skirting boards, architraves, door and window frames and more.

Incorporating Crown's Breatheasy technology this paint is 99% solvent free which limits exposure to airborne triggers of asthma and allergy, helping to create a healthier space.

Ensure that all surfaces to be painted with Crown Quick Dry Eggshell are clean, dry and free from all surface contaminants such as grease, grime, dust, dirt and other loose material, including sanding dust.

• If necessary, move or cover furniture and other surfaces not to be painted
• Previously painted surfaces should be thoroughly abraded to provide a sound key before painting
• Take care to remove all traces of sanding dust with a vacuum cleaner or slightly damp, lint-free cloth
• If painting new wood or metal, prime the surface first with an appropriate primer and allow to dry

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions at all times.

Keep room well ventilated during application and drying. Do not apply in damp or humid conditions or in rooms with a temperature less than 10°C.

Stir the contents of the tin thoroughly before and periodically during use to ensure an even and consistent finish.

1. Apply Crown Quick Dry Eggshell paint with a good quality synthetic paint brush
2. Load brushes generously and apply evenly, in the direction of the wood grain, taking care not to overspread
3. In warm conditions, paint can dry very rapidly, so over-brushing should be avoided to prevent brush marks appearing in the finish
4. For best results, apply 2 even coats of Crown Quick Dry Eggshell, allowing 6 hours between coats
