Crown Easyclean Bathroom Emulsion Paint

Crown Easycare Bathroom Emulsion is a water-based emulsion designed for a range of surfaces in the bathroom such as walls, ceilings, wood and metal, providing excellent steam and moisture resistance. It guarantees protection of the paint surface against mould, with its MOULDGUARD+ formulation, and a washable surface that won't fade over time, providing long lasting colour and protection.

For best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from dirt, dust or any other surface contaminants.

1. Remove all loose and defective paint with a paint scraper, by sanding, or with a paint stripper
2. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces as they may contain harmful lead
3. Where necessary, wash the surface to remove dirt, grease and powdery or dusty residues
4. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry
5. Any surface defects should be filled with an appropriate filler
6. If required, rub down surfaces and then wipe off with a damp, lint-free cloth to remove dust
7. Seal all surfaces that remain powdery after thorough preparation with an appropriate plaster sealer

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.

Use only in well ventilated areas.

For best colour consistency, purchase sufficient paint for each project including enough for touch-in at a later time.

1. Stir the paint thoroughly before and periodically during use
2. Apply 2 - 3 coats of Crown Easyclean Paint using a good quality synthetic brush or microfibre roller
3. Allow 4 hours drying time between coats
4. For significant colour change, further coats may be required

To maintain the finish, simply apply a fresh coat of Crown Easyclean Bathroon Emulsion, following the Preparation and Application instructions above.

This paint has been specifically designed for bathrooms where condensation and steam can promote the growth of mould. Crowns MOULDGUARD+ formula helps to protect walls and ceilings to keep them looking fresh, and clean. If mould has been an issue in the past, treat the walls and ceilings with a mould and mildew cleaner first, to kill off any active mould spores. Once all traces of mould and mildew have been cleaned off, allow the bathroom walls and ceiling to thoroughly dry before painting.

Some of the colours appear lighter in the tin and dry darker depending on the shade. We recommend doing a test area to ensure that you are happy with the overall result before completing the project
