Ciranova Ecofix Plus is a water based PU impregnating oil for interior parquet flooring and wooden furniture where a natural, untreated look is required. Formulated with 35% bio based content, it provides an environmentally conscious finish that remains virtually invisible once dry. Proper preparation is essential to achieve an even, invisible finish with Ciranova Ecofix Plus. All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and any previous coatings before application.
- Ensure all existing finishes are completely removed so the wood is left bare and evenly absorbent
- Sand the surface thoroughly using a progressive sanding sequence, starting with 60 grit, followed by 80 grit and finishing with 100 grit
- After sanding, remove all dust carefully using a vacuum cleaner and a clean, dry cloth
- Ecofix Plus is suitable for use on properly prepared sanded, planed and brushed wooden surfaces
- Before application, ensure the wood is dry and the working area is well ventilated

Always carry out a test area before starting your project to confirm suitability and assess the final appearance. Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully and ensure conditions are suitable before application.
Ciranova Ecofix Plus can be used as both a primer and a finishing oil and is applied in up to three coats depending on the level of protection required.
- Stir the product thoroughly before use and do not dilute
- Apply using a brush or roller, with a short pile roller recommended for best results
- Apply the first coat evenly in the direction of the wood grain
- Allow the first coat to dry for four to six hours, then apply a second coat in the same manner
- After twelve to twenty four hours, lightly sand the surface using grit one hundred and eighty to two hundred and twenty to remove raised fibres
- Remove all sanding dust and apply the third coat evenly to complete the finish
- Ensure good ventilation during application and drying to support even curing and consistent results
Drying Times
- Dust dry after twenty to thirty minutes
- Sandable after four to six hours
- Lightly walkable after twenty four hours
- Fully cured after approximately seven days
