Overview

Overview

Back

Bona Stone, Tile and Laminate Floor Polish is a ready to use maintenance coating suitable for a large variety of hard surface floors, including laminate flooring, vinyl, linoleum, terrazzo, unglazed tile (ceramic, quarry), stone and sealed porous marble. Made from a urethane/acrylic blend with added wax for continued protection. Evens out the appearance of flooring for a refreshed new, glossy look.

Preparation

Preparation

Back

Dry sweep or vacuum floors to remove any loose dirt and grit to avoid scratching your floor.

  1. Clean floors thoroughly with Bona Stone,Tile and Laminate Floor Cleaner and allow to dry
  2. Do not use over any floor that has been waxed or oiled, as wax and oil residues will prevent proper adhesion of the polish to the floor

Application

Application

Back

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the bottle at all times. Do not use on waxed or oiled floors. Shake bottle thoroughly before use and apply at normal room temperature, 18-25°C.

  1. Pour a wide, wavy line of polish onto a small section of the floor
  2. Spread the product over the section using a Bona Microfiber Applicator Pad on the end of a Bona floor mop
  3. Smooth in the direction of the wood grain
  4. Continue, section by section, until the whole floor has been treated
  5. The floor can receive foot traffic after 2 hours but avoid heavy traffic and replacement of furniture and rugs for the first 12 hours

Cleaning Equipment

Clean tools with water directly after use. Dried material can be removed with acetone.
