Bona Remover effectively removes Bona floor maintenance coatings from wooden floors that have become tired, worn and scuffed with shoe marks, ready for re-finishing. It's compatible with the following products:
|Bona Polish||A ready-to-use polish for tired varnished wooden floors|
|Bona Freshen Up||A ready-to-use, water-based polyurethane maintenance coat to freshen up most finished and pre-finished wooden floors in both commercial and domestic areas|
For best results, remove any loose dust and grit by sweeping, using a vacuum cleaner, mop or other dry cleaning method prior to applying Bona Remover.
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the bottle at all times.
Dilution - 1 litre to 5 litres of water. For scuff marks: 1 cap / 100 ml of water.
Please Note: The amount of water applied to the floor must be kept to a minimum so as not to cause any damage. Pay attention to large gaps in the floor and do not allow excessive amounts of cleaning solution to seep into open gaps. It is important that all traces of Bona Polish Remover are wiped up before applying a new layer of polish.
Once previous maintenance coatings have been completely removed, a fresh maintenance coat like ones seen in the Overview above can be applied.
