Barrettine Paint Brush Cleaner is a solvent-based cleaning solution which contains detergents and emulsifiers to efficiently remove household paint and varnish from brushes, roller and pads.
Please note: this product is not suitable for use on plastic or bituminous materials.
- For the removal of solvent and water-based paints that have already hardened in the bristles of the brush, try Barrettine Paint Brush Restorer

Always do a test area before starting any project to confirm performance and follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.
- Pour Barrettine Brush Cleaner into a suitable container
- Immerse the bristles of the brush into the paint brush cleaner and work well into the brush
- Rinse the brush well under cold water
- For paint rollers, pour the liquid liberally into the painting tray and work into the sleeve
- To remove greasy stains, shoe polish etc, from carpets and furnishings, use a little bit of liquid on a dry rag
- Always rinse applicators with clean water after using Paint Brush Cleaner

Bottle too small
Great product but this size bottle doesn't go far. By the time a spray gun is flushed through and a couple of brushes cleaned you can pretty much kiss a bottle goodbye. I advise buying bigger.

Disappointing
I decided to buy this item as it was recommended for use with another product that I needed. It didn't work very well and in fact I used washing up liquid to finish the job and for subsequent applications of the primary product.

Cleans well
This product cleans the brush I used to apply Barrettine Log Cabin Treatment which is not water based. I assume it will clean other types of paint from brushes just like turpentine used to do.
