Expect it to be as good as other Osmo products

seemed to take ages to melt wax, I wasn't great at getting colours to match but still disguised table scratch a fair bit

The battery operated heat source is not really fit for purpose. I used a soldering iron to melt the wax. With patience an effective improvement can be made to wood scratches and minor damage.

Have been unable to use this product as it has proved impossible to remove the casing from the mini melter in order to insert batteries, despite using several screwdrivers and even purchasing new ones. The wax sticks themselves are much smaller (4cm) than their online image. I feel I have spent £27 for nothing. I might as well have just bought cheap wax crayons and melted them in the microwave!

A great selection of wax's to fill almost any colour of timber, The Battery powered wax melts looks a little toy like but despite this it melts the wax well and fills the gaps splits with ease. Most impressive of all is you have loads of wax's left so should last for years....

A little fiddly to use but once you get the hand it does what it says on the label, good product

The heating tool works but I'll look for a better one with accurate temperature control.

Good selection of coloured waxes. Cutting/heating tool adequate but some patience needed waiting for it to heat up. If you take your time you will get good results.

It does just what it says on the - packet. Although it took a bit of practice to match the colours, there is everything you need here to repair a wood laminate floor. For this price you are not going to get better. For best results you will need to take a few sessions to get it looking right but the most you would need to add to this is a couple of new batteries!

I have found this to be a really useful kit. The melting tool is easy to use and precise in action.

Great piece of kit and good value. Takes a few practices on spare wood but you can achieve impressive results.

The repair tool was effective and the pack comes with some different coloured waxes. However the instructions aren't very clear and the tool switches itself off after a while which made fixing a large scratch on the floor quite time consuming.

it looks just what i want, whilst I have not yet used it, it has a range of colour so it appears I will be able to blend the correct shade, good price and quick delivery

I used this kit to repair a chunk taken out of an oak floor due to a falling mirror! Using a combination of the coloured waxes I managed to get it almost unnoticable.

Easy to use and very pleased with results

Order came on time, product works well, used on work top repair and after no sign of scratch. will order again from wood finishes.

Not used this yet, but instructions are good and it looks reasonably easy to use

This is basically a soldering iron like device and some different coloured wax strips. You use the heated tip to melt the wax into the scratch, and then rub smooth. In theory this is quite clever, but it just didn't work for me as the colours of wax provided didn't match my flooring. The instructions suggest you can blend the different wax colours, but in reality I just couldn't get a match. I ended up buying a can of floor oil in a similar colour, and rubbing that into the scratch instead. This way the scratch is still there (not filled in), but the colour blends with the undamaged wood. If you have a floor that matches colour wise with the wax sticks supplied then this could be useful. Otherwise - avoid.
