Overview
Liberon Garden ColourCare Decorative Furniture Oil is ideal for all wooden garden furniture, including chairs, tables, daybeds, benches and other exterior wood. It can be used on Teak, Pine and exotic wood species.

Preparation
Ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and any other surface contaminants.
- Any varnish, paint or other coating must be fully removed by sanding or with a dedicated remover / stripper
- Fill any gaps or splits in the wood surface with a suitable wood filler
- Lightly sand bare or previously oiled woods with 240 grit abrasive paper and remove any sanding dust
- Any surface mould and grime should be removed with Liberon Garden Furniture Cleaner
- Wash blackened woods in clean water and allow to dry before applying furniture oil
Application
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.
Ideal application conditions are between 12°C and 25°C in dry weather.
- Shake thoroughly before use
- Apply a generous coat of Furniture Oil with a natural bristle brush or 3 to 5mm short pile roller
- Do not wipe off any remaining excess
- Leave to dry for 4 hours
- Apply a second coat of oil, again without wiping off
The opacity and the colour will be visible after the application of the 2nd coat of Liberon Furniture Oil.
Aftercare
Maintenance
To maintain the protective qualities of the finish, simply apply a fresh coat of Liberon Garden ColourCare Decorative Furniture Oil as and when required, following the 'preparation' and 'application' instructions above.
