Bona Prime Classic

Easily applied with a roller, floor mop, or paint brush, Bona Prime Classic is designed to effectively seal soft or hardwood floors creating a barrier in the timber allowing top coats to form an effective seal on wooden surfaces.

Being water-based with a drying time of just 1-2 hours, Bona Prime Classic provides an effective, safe and easy way of getting the most from the Bona waterborne range of finishes.

Bona Prime Classic Details

• Bona Prime Classic is a one-component waterborne acrylate primer
• Drying time approximately 1-2 hours at 20°.
• Approximate coverage between 8-10 meters² per litre.
• product must be thoroughly mixed prior to application.
• Care should be taken to ensure that the Temperature range remain at between 5° & 25° during storage.
• For best results, room temperatures must not fall below 13° during application & drying.

For the best results, surfaces to be treated must be sanded back to bare wood prior to the application of Bona Prime Classic. Wooden floors should be dry and free of all contaminants such as waxes, oils, grit, dirt and dust including sanding dust prior to application.

Once Bona Prime Classic is dry, wooden floors or surfaces can be lightly sanded with a fine grit sandpaper to smooth any raised wood grain.
