Woodleys Wood Surface Cleaner is an effective cleaning solution suitable for a wide range of surfaces including softwood and hardwood furniture, floors, doors, laminates, plastic, glass, stone and metal.

Wipe down wooden surfaces with a clean, dry microfibre cloth or other lint free cloth to remove surface dust or dirt prior to cleaning. Wooden floors should be dry swept or vacuumed to remove surface dust, dirt and fine grit that may otherwise scratch the floor prior to cleaning.

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and end results. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container at all times.
Woodleys Wood Surface Cleaner should be diluted with water to a ratio of approximately 1 part cleaner to 1 part water. For stubborn marks, dilute to a ratio of 3 parts cleaner to 1 part water.
- Apply the diluted cleaning solution using a clean lint-free cloth, such as a Woodleys Microfibre Cloth or Woodleys Cotton Rags. Flooring areas can be cleaned with a microfibre floor mop
- Ensure that the cloth or mop is damp rather than saturated with the cleaning solution as too much water can degrade wood finishes
- Simply apply to the surface where dirt needs to be removed and wipe away any excess cleaner with a clean cloth
- Allow 20 minutes to fully dry
- Repeat the process if required for stubborn marks or heavily soiled floors

Good product
Used this to wash our 1930s stair treads and banisters after stripping and sanding. Left wood clean before whitewashing and varnishing.

Not quite sure
Doesn't seem to make much difference to my wood surface but maybe it wasn't very dirty . I wanted to ensure the wood was fully prepared before re oiling

Highly effective and easy to use
If you follow the recommended dilutions it delivers every time. I have not used it neat but I imagine that it would remove the most stubborn of marks. My heavily soiled softwood was given a real face-lift with a 60/40 solution. Best to wear protective gloves if you have sensitive skin!
