Bona Prime Intense

Offers a higher build than Bona Prime Classic. Perfect for use with any of the Bona waterborne top coats, Bona Prime Intense is designed to help achieve the best possible overall finish on wooden floors and other wooden surfaces. Offers greater durability.

Bona prime Intense is a single component 100% water-based polyurethane primer that is both safe and easy to apply with a paint roller, paint brush or wood finishing floor mop.

Bona Prime Intense details

• Drying time approximately 1-2 hours at 20°C.
• Approximate coverage between 8-10 meters² per litre.
• Bona Prime Intense must be thoroughly mixed prior to application.
• Temperature range must remain between 5°C & 25°C. during storage.
• Room temperature must not fall below 13° during application & drying.

All wooden surfaces to be coated should be sanded back to bare wood. Surfaces to be treated should be free of all dust, dirt, waxes, oils and other possible contaminants. Wood flooring and other wooden surfaces must be dry before treatment.

After treatment with Bona Prime Intense, wooden surfaces can be lightly sanded with a fine grit sandpaper to smooth any raised wood grain prior to the application of the top coat(s).
