Where there are many sizeable gaps (up to 2mm wide), Bona mix & fill is the perfect choice. Popular with DIY enthusiasts and tradesmen, this versatile filler can be finished with stains or oils to make a virtually invisible repair.

Drying in anything from 20 minutes depending on the room temperature and the size of the repair, Bona Mix and Fill filler is both safe and easy to use.

Application of Bona Mix and Fill

Surfaces to be repaired with Bona Mix & Fill must be clean, dry and free of dust and other contaminants.

Bona Mix and fill should be mixed with retained sanding dust from the job at hand to a putty -like, texture suitable for filling the joint or split in the wood. The filler mix can be easily applied with a large filling knife or even a trowel and shaped into the joint or damaged area with a flexible filler knife. Once the Mix & Fill mixture has dried, it should then be sanded back to the bare wood with a fine grit sandpaper before finishing with the chosen wood stain or oil.
